Antonelli's Cheese is a specialty cheese shop founded in 2010 by John and Kendall Antonelli. What started as a neighborhood retail shop has grown to include a Cheese House offering public tasting classes and private events, a cheese club, and a wholesale program sourcing and distributing artisanal cheese and meat across Texas. We represent hundreds of artisanal producers, learn their stories firsthand, and retell them to our customers. Our retail shop offers complimentary tastes, and we build cheese and charcuterie trays alongside raclette experiences. We have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Wine Spectator, and Inc. 5000. Our guiding mission is simple: Do Good. Eat Good.
We partner with artisans who manage their lands sustainably and regeneratively, care for their herds humanely, and source raw materials ethically. We follow the principles of the Slow Food movement, sourcing goods that are described as "good, clean, and fair," and align with the Good Food Retailers Collaborative in selecting foods that are "tasty, authentic, and responsibly-sourced." On the operations side, we recycle and compost to minimize waste, use biodegradable and compostable materials, and support environmental nonprofits. We also donate goods, services, and time to local non-profit organizations and the broader food system.
