Bernhardt's Fruit & Veggie Farm is a family-owned operation on thirteen acres. What started as a backyard garden in 2007 grew into a full-time farm and licensed commercial kitchen. We grow a wide variety of berries, grapes, and vegetables year-round, along with a 70-tree orchard of pecan and various fruit trees. At markets, we bring fresh produce alongside prepared foods made from what we grow — including pickles, jam, kimchi, hummus, pesto, salsa, sauces, sorbet, and prepared entrées. We accept SNAP dollars and WIC/FMNP vouchers. Pre-orders are available by text.
Bernhardt's Farm grows chemical and pesticide-free produce. Growing methods include greenhouse and hoophouse production, integrated pest management, and permaculture. The farm operates with a zero-waste philosophy, using everything they grow — surplus and unsold produce goes into value-added goods made in their on-farm licensed commercial kitchen. When their own harvest is not enough, they have sourced ingredients from other local farmers to keep production going.
