Southern classics elevated by farm-fresh ingredients in a rustic space with a lush garden & a shop.
Jacoby's Restaurant & Mercantile is a family-operated, ranch-to-table restaurant with simple Southern and rustic roots, set on the Colorado River. The menu centers on Jacoby Brand Beef — bred, born, raised, and processed in Central Texas by the Jacoby family — alongside local produce and from-scratch preparation. Dishes span dinner and weekend brunch, with standouts like chicken fried steak, BBQ meatloaf, and smoked ribeye Benedict. The restaurant also includes a Mercantile. The same family has operated Jacoby Feed and Seed in Melvin, TX since 1981, and their vertically integrated operation also raises sheep, goats, pork, and exotics that appear on the menu when available.
Jacoby Brand Beef is bred, born, raised, and processed in Central Texas entirely by the Jacoby family. Cattle are fed pasture grass, hay, and a finishing ration specially mixed by Jacoby Feed and Seed, and are never given growth hormones or antibiotics. Beef is hand-cut and dry aged 21 to 28 days. The family also raises sheep, goats, pork, and exotic animals, which are featured on the menu when available. The restaurant additionally sources local produce and uses from-scratch preparation across its menu.
