ThoroughFare is a full market — bakery, café, deli, and grocery — where everything is made in-house using the same ingredients you'd use at home. The concept grew out of ThoroughBread, a bakery founded in 2018, after its team became focused on why quality, trustworthy food is so hard to find in a conventional grocery store. Every item is made from scratch and held to a single standard: real ingredients, no shortcuts. No seed oils, no artificial preservatives, colors, flavors, gums, or fillers, no refined or artificial sweeteners, no GMOs in grains, oils, or sweeteners, no ultra-processed ingredients, and no "natural flavors".
ThoroughFare follows a strict set of ingredient standards across all of its products. The kitchen uses no seed oils, no artificial preservatives, colors, flavors, gums, stabilizers, or fillers, and no refined or artificial sweeteners. GMOs are excluded from grains, oils, and sweeteners, and no ultra-processed ingredients or industrial additives are used. Packaging is BPA-free. The business sources organic, regenerative, and local ingredients where possible.
