Wheatsville Co-op is a member-owned natural foods grocery store that has been operating since 1976. We carry a full range of groceries including organic produce, fresh meats, dairy, deli foods, bulk goods, beer, wine, and household items, alongside traditional pantry staples. Our deli offers hot and cold sandwiches, a salad and hot bar, baked goods, and made-to-order items — including our signature Popcorn Tofu. We also have a sushi department and an in-store coffee bar. Anyone can shop with us; ownership is optional but open to all. We have been voted Best Neighborhood Grocery by Austin Chronicle readers more than 15 times since 2007.

We carry organic produce across a wide selection, with organic SKUs representing up to 80% of our produce department offerings. Since our founding, we have been committed to supporting locally produced products, working with local farmers, ranchers, and vendors throughout Texas — identified in stores with "Local Connection" signage. We maintain a bulk foods section where shoppers can bring their own containers, reducing packaging waste. Our grocery selection includes Fair Trade and organic coffee, organic nut butters, and a range of specialty items including gluten-free, raw, and vegan options. We partner with local and area producers across categories including eggs, dairy, cheese, coffee, beer, wine, and produce.
